Edge Fix not working

Intalled the fix from Installer and I still get the cant use edge message.
Suggetions??

After installing the fix then go to "Settings>General>Network>EDGE" and type in your APN and username/password. For T-Mobile you'll need to leave username and password blank.

I do and APN will not stick. It goes blank
