Have installed both edge fix apps from installer and when I put in tmobile settings in APN the screen goes back to home screen after I type in.
They wont save.

I am not good with code. How would I get to that code screen?
I tried the alternative method in your link with no success.

the carrier.plist is the file to edit, and you are golden; lots of fix instructions on the web for this one -- if not scripts to do it for you.

just tell me how to get to the file to edit???
I intalled SSH. WHat next?

if on a mac, user cyberduck to download the file from phone to computer -- edit to add your carriers apn, then upload it back.
If on windows another SSH client will need to be used.
With regard to other SSH clients and actual filename/location, google and this forum's stickies are your friend...

Hey,
You have an SSH client on your machine - It's called WinSCP - I installed it for you remotely when I was unlocking your phone for you. Just use that and connect to you phone's IP. If you just installed you phone, your username when connection via SSH is 'root' and your password is 'alpine'
