iPhone Scratching?

I'm getting away from Nextel, thinking about an iPhone. Can any of you guys sell the phone to me? And also does it have the same scratching issues as the iPod? Cause all my iPods look like crap after a month.

It is scratch resistant, but it can get scratched. It is glass, not plastic like ipod.

Oh okay. How's the texting and internet on AT&T? Also, how's the phone?

About scratches:
I have a screen protector on the iPhone. Not sure of the brand; I bought whichever one popped up on the Apple Store site when I bought the phone. It was $14.95 for two. I plan to use the first until it gets destroyed and then use the second...

I don't use any sort of case. Just the screen protector. The phone lives in my front pocket daily. No scratches - granted, I haven't dropped it. The back is not like a traditional iPod - it's not shiny metal. It's more of a brushed metal. If you've seen a PowerBook or MacBook Pro from the past two years, picture something kinda like that.

In regards to calling and texting:
Quality is pretty good. I haven't dropped any calls where I am - granted it's a college campus, so coverage has to be good regardless. Back home quality is good as well. I like how you can talk through the included earbuds, as well as answer calls and control the iPod functions.

Texting is sort of an 'effort' to do quickly. The keyboard is great and guesses a lot of your mistakes, so it corrects them. But... I still try and use my thumbs which isn't always the easiest way to type. Index fingers are more precise.

All in all, I LOVE my iPhone - I use all of the features that it has, which therefore makes the cost + monthly bill worth it to me. Hope this helps!

Yeah that helped out a lot, plus you're a Ford fan, so I definently take your review in good trust

I've never been a big texter honestly because Nextel texting blows, so I don't even waste the money on it. But I want it and I'm sick of the BS. Anybody have an iPhone without a screen protector?
