Missing Music Files

I copied a bunch of mp3 files to the microSD card in my 8310. When I open the media player, only a portion of them appear. If I attach the 8310 to my computer and look at the contents of the card in explorer, all of the files are there. I can't find a setting that seems to affect this. Can anyone help?

Did you put them in the Blackberry\Music folder on the card? I have my songs in there and they all show up just fine.

Or if not, copy the songs to your computer, format the card, put the songs back in that folder and you should be ok.

in addition to the last post, make sure that the songs are in proper format (e.x. mp3), otherwise the card will not read/play them.

I've had that happen to me once. To fix the issue I reformatted the MicroSD card in the BlackBerry then added my music again.

Thanks everyone. A reformat didn't work, but it was the card that was at issue. A different card works perfectly.
