I updated my 8525 two days ago (November 3rd) to Windows Mobile 6. After doing so my 8525 has some how become defective, either that or windows mobile 6 WAS NOT READY.

I have experienced the following problems. Has anyone else experienced them? If so please post. If not I guess its time to use this warrantly since I still have some time left.

(1) While browsing the web the 8525/software randomly kicks me out to the "desktop".
(2) While navigating the start menu the 8525 randomly kicks me out to the desktop.
(3) The phone has froze a number of times forcing a restart.
(4) Touch screen sometime becomes unresponse. Only allowing the phone to respond to button presses.
(5) Occasionally when I open the phone I guess it gets confused and flickers back and forth between screen modes (landscape/portait).
(5) Everything is slower/lags.

I haven't seen any of the problems listed. So far it has been stable. Have you tried a hard reset or to reflash your device? I flashed mine on the 1st and I'm quite happy with it.

yea since the upgrade my phone has frozen at least 4 times while in calls, i thought it was only me, btw i can only remember this happening one time w/ wm5. besides that i dont have any problems

I have had the same problems. It is pretty much useless to browse HoFo now. Before on WM5 things were great. I even have slow browsing when I browse using my cable modem via wireless. I am about ready to go back to WM5.

I've had odd issues in the past with new flashes where a reflash of the same exact rom and/or hard reset has made drastic improvements. With these phones I'm just not convinced it's a new brainer foolproof thing to flash it and assume it's going to perform 100%. I've had this happen more than once and I don't flash my phone a whole lot.

Mine works great except 2 things. Activesync syncs like every 5 mins....way too often. I have no idea how to slow it down. Old versions I could connect and tell it to not sync until I pushed the sysc button. (AS 4.5 installed now)

Also Avantgo is super slow to load...and I mean tying up resouces for minutes. May try to re-install it, I've been a user for years and love it mostly for the NYT stories... It also only wants to get its data wirelessly, instead of using the Internet through the PC when it connected by a sync cable. In my Work, wireless is buggy...need it to work through the PC connection....

I just noticed this morning, when I had to soft-reset that it now is extremely slow, I push a button and the response time is somewhere on the scale of 2 minutes. My signal bar keeps going from 4 bars to an exclamation point

Biggest problem I've had is that if I loose cell reception for too long (which happens to me a lot at work) the phone won't connect again without a soft-reset. I even tried to put it in and out of flight mode but it won't enable the phone again.
