Are there any addons that will enable me to have some options with the camrea?
Like changing the resolution, or zooming in while taking the picture?
And whats the word with video recording? Is that an eventuality?

Theres no app or addon that will let you change resolution, zoom and video recording right now but I think there will be one in the near future
