blackberry mypin problem

everyone else that i know that has either a curve or 8800 can type mypin and hit the space bar in a text email or bbm adn their pin appears, however mine never does that, i even updated to the latest software which my phone already had and it still doesnt work...could it be because i originally had an 8700c a while back and transfered all my information through the blackberry software to the new one or the replacements i have had...does anybody know what to do or what i am even talking about i would really appreciate it

That is actually an Autotext.
mypin (pin:%P)
You should be able to add it to your BB
