can't download Pics on cdm 8932

Does anyone have any idea how to download pictures from an 8932 UTstarcom. I've tried bitpim and qpst. The qpst connects but the Pic files are in a form that my photo programs won't read. Today I tried a bluetooth USB adapter. It tells me that my phone doesn't support file transfer.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
