iPhone not reading simcard?!?!

i have unlocked T-Mobile iPhone
FW: 1.0.2

Went to work today, things were fine. then my phone started messing up, like where its suppose to say T-mobile in the top left corner it doesnt say anything but has signal bars?

idk, but the phone turns on and stuff but i cant make calls or txts!!!

someone help please!!

i just put my moms sim in my iphone and it worked!??

WHY DID MINE ALL OF A SUDDEN QUIT WORKING?

WEIRD, never came across this issue, maybe try a hard reset?
Hold sleep and home till it turns off. Then press Sleep to turn it back on and see what happens

im like i pay my bill on time every month and i get this in return?

at 1115 at night?

dont think thats happening

they dont open until 9am tomorrow and ill be somewhere then

so this blows

the stupid tmobile CS person said my card died for no reason

umm okay!? sure.. and this is my fault how?

so now i dont have a working sim which equals no service which means im angry at tmobile

That just tells you stuff can go dead for no reason, anything is possible just like an iPhone can malfunction from a drop of 1ft

No one said it was your fault

The above poster suggested a new sim card and he actually didnt mean for you to go out right now and get one so dont give him a hard time

mine doesn't do this with my at&t card. Call apple and see what they say about your tmobile card not working.

sim cards go dead all the time...so really all u can do is buy or get a new one...personally I have spares in which I could call up my service provider and get them to activate it if my current one died

well tomorrow im going to get another one
so hopefully thats the problem, and im thinking that since my sim didnt work in another T-Mobile phone and another t-mobile sim worked in my phone

so yea, have to wait till 9am est tomorrow to get another one

oh and, whenever the phones on. and i remove the sim, it says no sim. yea i know,

but it takes away the dock where the phone, mail, internet, and ipod is and just shows icons in the background, then when i put the sim back in. the screen turns black and i have to turn it off and back on again for it to work

why does this happen?

Its not good to take your sim card in and out while your phone is on, I was told this by the person I bought my phone from who knows a ton about the iPhones
