"Google today finally unveiled its mobile software platform. So far all that has been revealed about the platform is that it will be free and open source. Though details of the OS itself are slim, Google announced a host of handset and carrier partners. The OS will require new hardware and HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung have all agreed to manufacture devices. In the US, Sprint and T-Mobile have joined to launch devices based on the Google platform while elsewhere China Mobile, Telefonica and TIM have signed on as well."

I don't see AT&T's name in there... what the hell are they gonna do? They should know that Google is like Microsoft you can't compete...and if you can't beat'em join em!!! If AT&T doesn't pull their head out of their you know what, this is gonna be catastrophic for their wireless industry. What does everyone else think about this?
