I'm bored at work -

So, I've decided to actually put some of my free time to helping out the community, as so many people on this forum has helped me. Anyhow, if you're having problems unlocking your iPhone either with 1.0.2 or 1.1.1, I can help you out.

This is what you will need before I can help you

1) iPhone (preferably viriginized)
2) iTunes 7.4 (I haven't tested any of my methods with 7.5 yet)
3) WiFi
4) 1 hour of your time - If I'm going to spend an hour helping you out, you sure as HELL better be there every step of the way!!! Plus, I might need you to put the iPhone into restore mode

5) WINDOWS - If you have a Mac, sorry NO HELP FOR YOU
6) You will also need to install a program called LogMeIn (what I use at work for techinical support) - This application allows me to get remote console access to your computer. It can be uninstalled later.

I am doing this because I want to help out the community, but donations will be accepted (Thank You!).

Also, I make absolutely no guarantees of a successful unlock, and I will offer limited to no support for anything you want to do to mod/alter your phone after the unlocking process. I also won't be held responsible for damages, or the fact that unlocking voids your warranty - If you're reading this, chances are the warranty isn't at the top of your priorities list

All the methods I will be using come from this forum, so techinically, yes you can do it yourself

Here is what I use for each of the process:

Jailbreak: wiNstaller / TIFF Exploit / MediaSym / Carnaval (includes YouTube)
Activation: Patched lockdownd file
Unlock: AnySim 1.1

I recently attempted to virginize my 1.02 phone and upgrade to 1.1.1. I ended up bricking my phone and was about to take it to Apple to try to get it repaired or replaced.

My cries for help on this forum were answered by Drakkhen and he spent a few hours helping unbrick my phone and upgrade it to 1.1.1. Now the phone is working great.

I recommend taking him up on his offer.

I can help! I have windows*. The only thing I could probably do is give people roms or direct them to roms and help them mod their phone when you are done, so I am usually available after school around 2pm PST. Give me a PM and I will give you a direct email so you can tell me when to start helping.

Actually, you have a mac right? Sometimes I totally don't know what to do when a mac guy is asking me for help - maybe I can forward these requests to you?

Can you PLEASE help me?!

I had a 1.0.2 unlocked via anysim 1.0.1 & jailbroken with ibrickr.

flashed back to 1.0.2, then upgraded to 1.1.1 and couldn't get any of the 1.1.1 jailbreaks to really work...

do you have AIM or soemthing or how can I contact you? I'd be more than happy to donate some cash, this is the only phone I have

Hey Drak, if you need a hand I can pitch in as well

I use both Mac and Windows so I can possibly fill a void tween the two OS

I'm usually available after 4PM EST

I would like some help with this.

After the horrors that I dealt with today, I really want someone with experience to help me with this.

I have my iPhone 1.1.2 (Had to restore and forced into update). I don't care what you need to do, if you get this beast unlocked for T-Mobile US, I will be eternally grateful.

I have Mac OS X and will be available almost all weekend. If you can help me, PM me and I will call you about setting up a time.

I recommend to READ EVERYTHING... like literally read everything... all the guides.

Then find the best and latest guide for your situation. Too many times I forgot a step, and some guides weren't updated...

Hey there, sounds great. Lets see if you could help me out. Unlocked (meaning sim unlock) on 1.02 and then upgraded which resulted in the obvious bricking. Would like to "completely restore" my iphone so that I can upgrade without any problems. Not interested in unlocking or hacking it anymore rather would like to return it to normal so that I could possibly sell it or give it away to someone and they wouldn't have any problems.
