I wonder if anybody can please assist,i have just upgraded my 2 phones to the new viewty,i am happy with the phones apart from i need to use the mobiles to dial out through a laptop to download files from the internet for my work,i have installed the software and spoken to 02 technical checking that all the settings are correct.The modem will not work at all in the mobile and all i get when dialling out is TE connection fail.I have spoken to LG customer services in the uk (about as much use as a chocolate fire gaurd) and have been told by someone who does not really understand what i am trying to do with the phone that other people have telephoned with the same complaint and they cannot say anything until they have confirmation from head office.I then asked the question will this phone work as a modem to go onto the internet now or in the future and the reply was i do not know.If anybody could help because i really like the phone and do not want to get rid off but sadly i must have a phone that will connect.Last week i had a sony eric p1i was superb going through laptop but hated the phone.Any suggestions also what is a good model.
