Guide: New Script To Virginize BaseBand v3 iPhones No Computer Needed

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: GeeK.dLL

This guide is for iPhone with firmware 1.0.2 and baseband 03.14.08_G only!!! With installer app is installed and WiFi access.

Did you unlock your phone with old firmware and want to update to v1.1.1?! Your phone needs to be repaired first! GeeZuZz has set up the "world's first" fully automatic "virginizer" (using Elite Team's loader and Dev Team's exectuable) that will fix the phone for you in less than 5 minutes!

It doesnt matter which sim card is in the phone when you run this script.

http://wiki.howardforums.com/index....our_Baseband_v3

Post your Questions and Results.

Thanks to GeeZuZz and both the iPhone Elite and Dev team.

OK. I want to know if I am understanding this correctly.

My phone is 1.0.2 with 03.14.08_G, apptap installer and the wifi works.

I have been thinking about uninstalling the 3rd party apps and just upgrading to 1.1.1.

Can I follow these instructions and "virginize" my phone and then upgrade to 1.1.1 and still have my 3rd party apps?

What about the new upgrade 1.2.2 (or whatever?)

Also the link at the bottom of the instructions doesn't work.

I just tried this and the virginizer ran successfully. I have yet to upgrade to 1.1.1.

Does it matter which virginizer or anysim is used? They can both be found under the Unlocking Tools and Utilities folders. One is by BigBoss and the other by Fredrik. I'm assuming they are both the same

So if my IPhone is unlocked, this utility will keep it unlocked and fix the baseband??

This will virginize and WILL relock. You will have to run the new anysim 1.1

Posted by: proaud

Will it wipe everything installed or just fix the baseband?

Posted by: ericdraven

Ran it on both my iPhones...

It can't get any easier than this...

Upgraded one to 1.1.1 and kept the other one at 1.0.2

Thanks!

There are two anysim 1.1 and virginizer within Installer. One under the "Unlocking Tools" folder and one under the "Utilities" folder. Are both the same?

It will not wipe the device. It just restores original baseband, which means it will relock.

If you read the guide it says under "Unlocking Tools" please make sure you read the guides carefully it could save you sometime and answer you questions.

"Then install Virginize Script found in the Unlocking Tools category."

Wow. wow.. wow....

I don't think that process could have been done any easier.

Amazing.

I did read the guide. The guide is not all that accurate for ppl new to this.

If you go into the "Unlocking Tools" folder, you will see "The Virginizer" and not what you said..."Virginizer Script". If you go under the "Utilities Folder", you will find..."Virginizer Scripts". The one you are referring to in the guide is in the "Utilities" folder and not in the "Unlocking Tools" folder. You may think that something this tiny may be stupid, but it can be confusing for some. Just want some clarification.

If you are saying the "Unlocking Tools" folder is the correct folder, this post should clarify any confusion that others may have

Hey guys, I followed the guide and revirginized my 1.0.2 baseband, then updated to 1.1.1 (or was I supposed to go 'restore'?".

Anyways, I'm trying to jailbreak, and when I try to get the phone to call itself by dialing "#307#" nothing happens...even dialing "0" won't bring up the screen for me to press hold. What did I do wrong?!

Posted by: Geil

Just ran the virginizer script and so far so good... IME is still correct and the cellnetwork is ntodetected so let's hope I have more luck then GDog

Turns out I'm an idiot because I forgot to enter the asterisk before #307#... Which resulted in the phone not calling itself. I had to find this out the hard way as I downgraded and started again.

Now I am 1.1.1 and everything works, except I am getting more Safari crashes compared to before. Key board response time seems to be delayed a bit too. However I do find the speaker to be louder when I'm listening to the iPod. Double clicking home is pretty convenient too.

I have a 1.0.2 with non corrupted seczone and original IMEI but unlocked . Now I have to upgrade to 1.1.1 First attemp fone got locked again and jailbrickme.com didn't work and fon never called himself. Had to downgrade to 1.0.2 and unlock with anysim 1.1 and went OK. Now IMEI is original, fon unlocked and eveything is OK but modem firmware is 04.XX instead of 03.XX . I want to upgrade to 1.1.1 but too scared of being locked again. My seczone is not coruupted since IMEI is same as original number at the nack. Now Do I need virginiser or not?

Posted by: CrAkD

alright i got the virginizer ready to go might finally take the plunge. after i run the virginizer you guys have said its going to relock. by relock do you mean just not recognize my sim? so ill be able to get into it and run anysim 1.1 right from the phone? should i upgrade to 1.1.1 before i run anysim or after? also people have said they have 1.1.2. running unlocked. is that something i do after i get to 1.1.1.? I have the old version of itunes installed that was refrenced in the old iunlock method of 1.0.2. will i have to upgrade my itunes before all this?

Posted by: jetfxr

I upgraded to 1.1.1- Bricked -downgraded to 1.0.2 -and then downgraded baseband. Will this Virginizer work and restore to Virgin?

Posted by: numbeer1stunna

okay, i ran the virginizer and anysim 1.1 and it unlocked using my tmobile sim. is anybody have the problem where after you turn the iphone off it doesnt work after its turned back on?

Posted by: Zach12

hey guys,

need help on a full restore for iphone, how to guide

Posted by: flyhigh123

just a question:

I need to send my phone in for repair. I want to make my phone fully wiped clean and reset as though the phone was never used. I guess as though it just came out of the box. If I use this virginizer, do I need to do anything else to clean out the whole phone as though it was never used?

Thanks!
