I couldn't find anything about the ramp up for rehires...

Does anyone know if rehires are eligible for the rampup?

I am in a bargained Corp. store and left approx. 6 weeks ago...my manager has been begging me to come back and my new job is not what I expected. I would appreciate any information pertaining to my situation.

its those hired after november 1.
they get 6 months of pay instead of 3.
starting with about 1000, and then dropping to around 750, then 500, then 250 for the rest of the months.

its crazy
my boss showed me it, we had new hires like a week ago, and they wont get this, only those hired after nov 1

wait, what's rampup? I've heard about this before, but forgot what it was. So new hires get 6 months worth of commission relief instead of 3 months now?

You got it.

I was feeling some sorta way about this too when it dropped a few days ago. But in a way it's still okay. I've got 2 more months of ramp up before its gone, gives me more time to get things down...

right, so they make X amount of dollars on top of what ever they make in commision a month for 6 months

I was just hired on... Starting 12/3. I get 6 mos ramp-up? Does this include training (I remember back in the olden days that we got $30-50/day for training classes)????

you get your hourly pay for training classes (8 hours) and then they give you commission for the first 6 months

BADASS!!
My official first day was November 5th.

I was "hired" back in october though (i.e. told I was gonna work for AT&T.) Will I get the new rampup? Also, does the amount of rampup commission received have anything to do with being a part-timer vs. a full-timer or is it based off of hours worked? Hopefully the latter (I work nearly as much as FT)

Does anyone have any more info on ramp-up? No one at my store seems to know much about it.

Specifiaclly, how much is the part time ramp up?

All in one lump sum?

I'm not sure If it's the same in whatever market your in but I'm in Il-Wi and Full Time. Basically you get your hourly every two weeks. For the first six months you get the ramp up. For example: I went for training Mar sixteenth through thirtieth. I did not work in the store at that time. For ramp up I'm getting about seven hundred bucks in "commision" for the month of march even though I never worked in a store at all. The commision gets paid on the last friday of each month for the month prior. so I will get that money the last friday of April. Hope that helps a little.

Gotcha on that cubbie. Does anyone know how much part-time ramp up is?

There were a couple of part timers in my training class. It looked like they were getting a bit above half of what I was getting. You should get an email detailing exactly what you get paid once your company email is all set up.

It's proportional to how much you work compared to full time. So roughly 70%

The only thing is if you are bargained for, you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can be rehired...I think it is 3 months. When I stopped working for Cingular, I had to wait to reapply.
