Ok upon a quick glance on the iphone's usage settings, I noticed the phone is stating I uploaded and downloaded 100kb in total.

I never setup the Iphone to Fido's WAP. Plus i called Fido a week ago disabling any internet access. But still the phone managed to get some kb somehow on edge.

Does this happen to anyone else on fido or rogers?

Then there shouldnt be any EDGE usage because your have to have it setup

Maybe that usage was from before ? if so then just clear it

you must have it jailbroke / unlocked just install services and disable EDGE

I think Services dont work like it should like it turns EDGE back on when your phone goes in lock so its just better to have EDGE settings blank and so I dont see how its possible that EDGE is being used when its not even setup

It does (randomly it seems) turn EDGE back on for me occasionaly, but for the most part its off and I've been fine. Also since I turn WiFi off when I'm not using it I have to go in there to turn it on when I use data so I check it then anyways.
