Can we get in trouble at work if we're on HoFo? I always hide it around my boss and do most of my login time while off the clock. What's everyone else's boss think of HoFo?

if you post company senstivie information, then yah. If your boss doesnt like that you post on there while at work, you can get into trouble too.

I've been here for like, 2 years now, and haven't gotten into trouble once.

I am the boss, so its not a problem. =)

I don't post info, sadly I get more info here than at work. My boss doesn't care so long as I don't post sensitive stuff

I don't tell my boss or coworkers about hofo. I do it while at work, but hide it.

Our store policy is that we can only browse phone related websites, so hofo is ok. I wish more of my reps would read hofo because there is a ton of info on here that you just can't find easily on csp or other work related websites.

hey if its not blocked. its not an issue :-p

I believe this would not fall under acceptable internet use policy and therefore could be considered a COB violation.

But let's be real, who doesn't (for those that have access) surf the web from time to time while at work?

My boss encourages it and actually turned me on to HoFo in the first place. There is great info on here (most times) and being able to bounce things off other industry professionals is a great tool.

Personally, I like it because I get to VENT my frustration on here, rather than at my customers! Especially when AT&T is being ridiculous.

Yeah, HOFO is a great tool, you can check info that may not be available in CSP and also you can use it as a selling tool.
Things I learned about on hofo:

TCPMP/Skunkworks Youtube player for smartphones and PPCs
Orb
Google text
Google maps

All of these can help you with featrue sales. People come in and ask about the iPhone I show them orb and they're like whats an iPhone?

Hofo is used at our store, no problem since it is related to the wireless industry. The former rsm and asrm used to use it for info and entertainment
