when will ATT get the 3g Curve ? I love my curve but its soo slow on any web url

i have played with the Nokia 95 but i miss the keyboard of the pearl or the full sized curve ..

I think im going back to the Curve i just wish it had 3g

3G BBs are rumored to be coming to the US sometime next year as the 9000 series. Not much more than that. Don't look for much better browsing however. I seriously doubt if there will be much difference, simply due to process, memory, screensize and graphics capabilities can't be much improved in the small form factor and cost range than we have now. Plus, most websites are not optimized for mobile users.

Plus the US 3G network, on the GSM side, isn't that well built out yet. I don't think T-Mo has even started. EVDO Rev A via CDMA is pretty widespread on both Sprint and Verizon.

t mobile doesnt even have edge they use old cingular gprs towers which suck .
the first slated 3G phone is the 9000 series. EVDO rev a isnt all that either not much difference in web browsing than edge.

At least EVDO Rev A is faster than EDGE. Especially if you tether.

More bad info about EVDO RevA not being much faster than EDGE. It is lightyears faster. EVDO rev0 makes EDGE look like it is standing still, and EVDORevA is even better. I cant tell much difference when I am using my RevA data card or Wifi connected to DSL. I like my BB on ATT but I would not trade my EVDO (sprint) data card for any other carrier's data service.

never said one edge was better than the other.

and I have used the EVDO phones on verizon enough not to be impressed by it.
