Also Reading through this thread I had to chuckle, right when TX got that letter a bunch of newbs appeared with 1 post count and in depth knowledge of the upgrades, each claiming that their BJ was bricked, or could not get into boot loader mode, of could not get back to WM5. I am almost certain these messages were generated by the same corporate suit that sent that silly letter. A cute scare tactic but it just made me laugh. ![]() |

Today I wake up swap out battery and it's back to the same thing. So I contact att via phone and they walk me through the paces again and still nothing. I did not tell them I was on WM6 but then again tey did not ask either. So after finally them teling me that it was probably my phone they gave me the repair hot line. So obviously don't want to send in like this so I just reinstalled the wm5 update and WOW surprise surprise I now have access to web and emails So has anyone else had this issue with the wm6 versions? and if so did you get arond it anyway? The key indicator for me was that in the center of the screen it showed 3G but in the right corner it just showed the antenna. Oh and the AT&T guy this am had me do a master reset and still nada. Thanks Chip |

Right now: * Fully app unlocked with dev certificates * ICS included and fully functional (thanks to chudy2) * OBEX Bluetooth FTP server from i600 wm6 (found in settings -> bluetooth) * All Startup/Shutdown and Camera sounds removed (you can add them back if you like or make any sound you want, given the right filename) |

Nothing fancy, I just have an order to my chaos.

It sucks when you get a call you cant hang up on them, unless you take out the battery.(or they hang up first.)After a reboot, everything is back to normal. Was wondering if this was a possible bug. If not I guess my phone has herpes |

Removed: All AT&T additions from start menu (the 3 programs that are not just links to webpages are in Start Menu - Applications, please let me know if I missed something) Added: Office Mobile shortcuts, Podcast Client from i600, OmapClock, a number of tweaks. Updated: Display driver updated from revision 3 to revision 6 BT DUN is also in this release although I have nothing to test it's functionality with. I have not made any changes to the Car Kit portion yet. |

I experienced the sound repeating issue too, some kind of bug, ill look into it. Beta 4 will go into private testing soon, court owns most of my time for now. |

Nice!

all files are located in the \windows directory Initial background: - background_320x240.bmp 1. If you want to make one solid piece background like I have then you'll have to keep in mind that the background will be stretched accordingly to your phone's screen size so you'll have to do some adjustments to get it pin point perfect. 2. There is also a solid black area on the left that covers the time+date+provider First Top Bar ("Message Center" in pic): - top2.png 1. This is transparent and the transparency cannot be change (to my knowledge) Second Top Bar ("Appointments" in pic): - top1.png 1. This is transparent and the transparency cannot be change (to my knowledge) Main Card Area ("Profile" and icons in pic): - center_tile.png 1. This is a solid piece and IS NOT transparent like the others 2. I recommend a background where it has more contrasting colors so it makes the text more legible 1st Bottom Bar ("My Photos" in pic): - low1.png 1. This is transparent and the transparency cannot be change (to my knowledge) 2nd Bottom Bar (Recent Songs" in pic): - low2.png 1. This is transparent and the transparency cannot be change (to my knowledge) 2. This picture extends an aditional 4 pixels down (so make sure your background extends into your start/quicklist area by at least 4 pixels 3rd Bottom Bar (not visable unless card wheel scrolls): - low3.png 1. This is transparent and the transparency cannot be change (to my knowledge) 2. This picture extends an aditional 4 pixels down (so make sure your background extends into your start/quicklist area by at least 4 pixels 3. For those who want a solid layout like mine it is the exact same as mine then keep in mind that it is like the 2nd Bottom Bar, but slightly smaller. Be sure to align the picture to the right wall than the left wall on a picture editing program (ex. Photoshop) FINAL STEP After you are done with what you want as your new layout, go to your settings > Display > home screen > change your home screen to something other than a card wheel then click done. After the ugly menu changes go back to the settings and change it to "Card Wheel" go back to your home screen and you've got yourself a custom Card Wheel homescreen. |

Open Mobile Device>Windows Mobile Device>Windows (If you can't see the Windows dir, make sure you make hidden files shown. In your explorer: Tools>Folder Options>View>Show Hidden Files and Folders) Open the .Rar file > Extract. Take the files in one of the skins folder, drag and drop all the files into your mobile device>Windows folder and overwrite all files. A backup file will be included in the Rar. |
