desktop problem with 1.02

hi I have a 1.02 unlocked iPhone... and many times when I goback to the desktop all my icons dissapear.. the problem is temporarily solved with closing or resetting the phone but finds its way back...
any program known tocause this or any other suggestions? thanks guys
