SGH-A437 Data cable Phone Sync

My phone will allow me to use my data cable to transfer from phone to PC but not from PC to phone. I use Samsung PC Studio 3 with a data cable and it tells me that my SGH-A437 is connected, but when I try and send media files to my phone I get this note: "Failed to communicate with the connection manager"
What actions can I take, if any, to get my phone to sync with my PC working both ways (from phone to PC as well as PC to phone)?

What version of PC Studio are you using? The lastest version for XP is 3.1.2.GF2. There is also a version (3.2) for Vista.
I am able to transfer music successfully on my A737 via the USB data cable
