My whole store is clueless about the Premier website, manager included

Not one person in my store knows what the premier website is. My district manager probably doesn't even know what it is.

Anyone can relate?

I love premier cause I'm on it, but I hate it because people come in and ask if they get a handset discount at the POS in my store, no, because we're an authorized retailer.

They just don't know what it is. There is no training on it nor is there anything in the store that tells you about it. You just have to know from word of mouth or go on HF.

Maybe he was saying thats all its intended for and theres no reason to bother anyone else. I'm an authorized retailer as well (have been on premier, its hardly anything for my FAN) so I just refer to the website or COR.

For anyone with COR, do you'se guys give the same discounts as premier? Or any FAN equipment discount? Just wanna clarify cause I've sure sent many a customer your way. I know many of them are just discounts off of full retail, so its not a total loss.

I work in a COR location and I really don't give a **** about the "Premier website". Don't really know a whole lot about it, don't really care to know a whole lot about it. As far as I'm concerned, it's just another venue for customers to buy off the interweb and take dollars out of my pocket. When these pompous tards walk in the store expecting the "Premier" treatment, I want to give them a "Premier" fart in the face. Cheaper on Premier? Great, go buy it off Premier. You can pay the Premier website price and get Premier website customer service, or you can pay my price and get red carpet, personalized customer service. Don't expect the best of both worlds, at least not in my store

From experiance, cor does not even offer company discounts on the store retail price any more. If a customer wants to use their discount then it is off of the premier pricing only. Of coarse I flipped out about that but three different cor managers have told me that. Thats good for agents cuz thats not such a great deal for the customer so no real incentive to leave.( They leave any ways because they think I am lying.) Bad for me because I don't get the hook up in person.

Yeah, I'm not saying to mention it to customers, but it's a great website for employees who want a consumer line for themselves.

Yea, you're not going to get someone to post the AT&T FAN on a public forum.

As for people knowing about Premiere... No one in my store knows anything about that, or anything else for that matter. Working in my store is like being the smart kid that was accidentally put in remedial math.

Im just a normal customer but when i called 611 and asked the business rep about going into stores and redeeming the 50% off he said its possible for the stores to give me the discount. Also he verified with the manager and they both said it was possible. I went into 3 stores and they all told me to go online and that the cor stores have nothing to do with the premier program. Only one store ive been to actually helped me and got the discount in store. I bought about 100.00 worth of accessories that night and a phone.

I know from personal experience that the idiots that work in the Old Town Pasadena store are total morons. His reasoning for not offering the discount is because I could be buying them to resell for a profit.

Well the only reason it was up in the 100's is because i had bought a few cell phone holsters,cases and chargers before a trip and for my family who was going to buy it from ebay and the oem accessories from the att stores were cheaper and could get them instantly.
