BB Pearl 8100 Alarm Issues (After "upgrade")

Hi-
I am kind of new to the blackberry world. (I have the BB 8100 Pearl)
When I upgraded last week, the alarm has been very strange. I have downloaded my own ringers, and I have used a few as my alarm clock. I have a song set, and it shows up as the song it should play for my alarm. Even when I test the volume, it plays the song that is showing.
BUT...
When the alarm actually goes off, it plays the previous song, instead of the one shown on my phone.
Ever since the upgrade where you dont need to hit "save" this has been an issue.....does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this!?!?
