Would the curve's failure to update to correct time zones (when its supposed to via the network) be a sign of something wrong with the sim card?

The BB Curve has not been able to send email over BES as well.

I'm perplexed.

Hello

First of all your Curve does not update the time to the time zone you are in. YOU need to do this. It is not automatic. This is the way they were designed.

Next they do not even update the time automatically. You need to specify if you want to use Blackbbery or network and you also need to click on "Update time" for it to do this! It does not update to the correct time automatically!

You likely need to contact your BES administrators to see if they can help with your registration. You got to be on the network to get anything to happen!

I'm on the network, and registered with my BES admin.
I can send using Gmail, but not the BES associated accounts.
