I can go upgrade to an 8310 for free but I want to know if I have to pay for the GPS or can I get it for free via google maps or something like that?

GPS on the BB requires a data plan.

The word at this point is that only VZNavigator ($9.99/mo) is the only app that the internal GPS will work with.

I can't remember if it was an 8310 or not, but the "Pearl" as they call it, was available today at verizon when i looked. thinking of selling my Treo 700p straightup to someone and upgrading. I want GPS pretty bad. But Does anyone know if it supports IMAP email push? the guys there said that the 30/mo blackberry plan wouldn't cover that, and the 45 "might". ???
