Any like place as most of them? I dont really have time to search throught 50 million websites,

Posted by: isleepinabucket

nope... guess you have to do what THE REST OF US DID and LOOK ON OUR OWN.

Posted by: wxboss

One more pretty cool app (actually two cabs altogether) can be found here. Go down to the third post where you'll see a quoted post in a blue font. Download both of those files for a 6 button HTC Home plugin that's pretty sweet.

Although it's a paid solution, I have found Agile Messenger to be the best AIM client. Supports my need really well. I can send/receive pictures to my friends without needing a computer and links work really well on it to view websites. It can also let you know when someone is typing like from their computer or from another Agile Mobile device for WM PPCs. You can record voice messages for quick blurbs, etc. I haven't used that function yet, but now you can buy a lifetime license for Agile and you will keep it forever without ever having to pay for it again. I don't know all of the details, but I am looking to convert to a lifetime license soon anyway. I can't use anything but Agile for IM, I fee spoiled. Kinda sad really.

thx for sharing;

Okay i just got my TILT. How do i like install programs on it? Like i have AIM+ but i have no clue how to put it on the phone and install it, also where is file manager? And where can i get the wishbar with desktop so it looks like vista and the GBC emulator. Hit me up in a message or here or aim CASHISALLINE3d

Posted by: Wrangler3383

Programs can either be installed via the data cable and an executable file on your PC, or by transfering a CAB file on your phone and executing it within the file manager. The file manager is lumped in with your programs, accessible via the start menu.

for the most part all programmes can be installed on SD card; i think there are a rare few that are recommended on phone memory to increase stability of prgrmme, but unfortunately i dont remember the names; perhaps someone else can chime in..?

good luck;

For the most part, any program which runs all the time should be installed to the phone memory. e.g. Today screen plugins. As well, any program which needs to start as soon as the phone is turned on. For instance, Spb pocket plus has a "safemode" tool included in the application. If you for any reason can't get into windows, you can soft reset twice within the boot up screen to initiate "safe mode". The memory card programs don't get initialized until after windows is up. Obviously a program like this would need to be installed to phone memory.

For the most part, I install anything that I want high stability for, to the phone memory. That being said, most programs which must be installed to the phone memory, will warn you before the install.

Palringo is a free AIM/ICQ/Yahoo/MSN etc etc messenger program. You have to register (which is free) at there website palringo.com I prefer this over the old school hacked aim 2.0 client which KILLS battery and ram.

Posted by: Super Loopy

You can check out Mundu IM, it's not free but its a lot cheaper than the others at $11.

Link here for Mundu IM

The IM messenger that comes with the tilt works surprisingly good.

Posted by: kuzin tarell

How does one update the playlists on the program? It keeps asking me for a user name and password etc.

Posted by: DaveTheWaveUSMC

Does the OZ IM that comes with the tilt use SMS or Data Plan?

I found it to be very slow.

What about something for XM Radio streaming?

Posted by: nevermind65

Somebody told me about a program that turns the interface into an Ipod look. Anybody seen a program that does this?

Posted by: Zeuser

For music, get PocketMusic. The good news is that it works with Bluetooth and even with the Motorola S9 headset's buttons.

Best IM client for HTC Titan yet is Palringo. supports MSN, YAHOO, AIM, GG, ICQ XMPP (Googletalk).

- It's free. You just need to sign up with Palringo to get a master account. That's free too.
- It can be run when automatically when your HTC boots up
- Notifications are displayed on top bar
- Multiple accounts for each service are supported
- Icon on today screen to quickly access the full app

Works pretty well. Try it, I've found it's the best IM client for PPC

its called ppod, should be able to find it over at ppcgeeks or at xda developers.

I use IM+ by Shapeservices on my Dash, works fine in WM6. It is a trial-then-pay program, but it's been well worth it for me. Responsive, auto-updates contact lists, shows away messages (and lets you configure your own), etc.
Google Maps also works pretty well, though I hate how slow it can be, but that's more of a GPRS issue. T-Mobile needs more 3G.

Posted by: bigtsr

They could be referring to Point UI also,it's free and works well.

Posted by: SPARKER23

can some one PLZ help me with getting SiriuCE working? its driving me crazy lol

Posted by: javierv3crazr

why dont yall try out HTC Cube with TouchFLO? that thing is "great" the "newest thing out" the touchflo of course... i have it installed and it helps alot... ive had to use my stylus alot less now... its ll about as simple as usin ur finger to scroll... read the touchflo review and see wat its all about

Posted by: RobNyc

Is it me or can anyone help me why Instant Messaging program even if I do or not have an account with them. It start startsup at boot up.

Posted by: bigtsr

For those of you with built in GPS try this link for free app
that uses WiFi or GPRS which ever you have active in comm manager
for internet connectivity.

PocketMusic doesn't direct the music to my Bluetooth headset (which was what I was hoping for)

Check out Skyfire (http://www.skyfire.com) - view full size webpages on your WM6 phone, including sites like YouTube, etc. Works well and its fast. Great Application to have. still in Beta phase.
