was wondering if i should update now or wait more?
unlocked phone useing ibrick,apptap,pacay,jailbreak from version 1.0 to 1.02...i dont use any extra programs or care to customise the phone...i just use it for a telephone on tmobile....just dont want to get to far behind in updates

LOL. I was about to ask the same question. Looking at all of the stickies, wikis and ickies in this forum is really confusing and in some cases contradictory.

If you're looking to upgrade to 1.1.1 you shouldn't have any problems. There are plenty of guides (in the stickies) explain how to revirginize your phone, upgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak & unlock your phone again.

If you're looking to upgrade to 1.1.2, you might want to wait a couple more days.

Is it worth it? Well, that's up to you.

There are a couple changes from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 (wireless iTunes, double click shortcut, double space for period). How important are those to you?

How comfortable are you with modding your phone? For some, revirginizing, jailbreaking and unlocking are not a big deal. If you're not doing comfortable doing that stuff, & it's going to take you hours (even with the available guides) & the changes from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 aren't important to you, then it certainly isn't worth it.

Then again, if you have an unlocked 1.0.2 phone you may have to revirginize at some point (depending on what method was used to unlock the phone).
