I bought Sony erricson W810i from vodafone. The menu icons were not interesting at all so I thought about flashing it Using XS++.

I was trying to use:

firmware file: W810_R4EK001_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49
flashfile: W810_R4EK001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49

Following happens:

same happens when I use other firmware like

W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn

and choose europe 2 CDA.

plz help. What should I do.

Where did you download the firmware from?

They are not the same files, that may be the problem.

W810_R4EK001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49

Arent's they similar. I downloaded them from iprotebe.cz. There are other firmware as well.

W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn
W810_R4ED001_FS_S_E_EUROPE_RED49.fbn

don't work as well. same error. I have tried XS++ v.1.2 as well.

No but I tried SETOOL lite v2. It worked and now my W810i is unbranded. Thanks to all who tried to help.
