I was having great problem unbranding my W810i with XS++ and my last 2 days sucked as I wanted to do it and just couldn't.

Well just 15min ago I read a tutorial by THEGRIFFIN and used SETOOL lite 2.

It worked and in 5 minutes VODAFONE was off my mobile. I know XS++ has worked for so many people and it might be a very good software but it does take 5 hrs and didn't work for me.

SETOOL is also simple and uses three files and does the job in 5 min.

So I say it KICKS ***.

really? xs++ worked pretty well for me.. and it was my first time using it
i managed to use it on several phones already and its never failed? >.>

I never said XS++ is bad. It only reflected my experience. XS was giving a "FAILED TO SEND DATACHUNK" error. I tried to make it work with numerous versions and firmware but to no avail. SETOOL did it in 5 min.

If new XS++ takes ten minutes, it is very nice because previously 5 hrs was hell of time.

I know SETOOL will not work with mobiles of all brands. Thats a drawback. But for Sony erricson it is my favourite.
