AT&T Tilt

I just got the new tilt phone & I am trying to import my contacts from my old phone. The old phone is the V from Verizon. I have bitpim and the software for the tilt installed on my pc. I have extracted all of my contacts from my old phone to a file using bitpim but I can't figure out how to get them onto the tilt. Bitpim won't recognize the tilt. Can anyone help??

If you can some how get them imported to outlook contacts, then sync the phone to it via active sync, that would be the best way, outlook has a couple importing methods.
Can those LG's sync up with outlook, you could go that route as well?

Can you beam the contacts via BT from one device to the other?
