Problem w/ alltel flashed k1m on vzw USB Drive problem

Ok, so I have an alltel flashed k1m and it has the menu, and I set it and everything, plug it in the computer, it recognizes the TF on the K1M as a USB Mass Storage Device, but it never loads the disk image in My Computer. I checked

and everything is setup the same, it's just not populating the drive. Any suggestions?

BTW: popped the same card in my old W490, same format and everything and it reads it perfect, so I know it has to be a problem w/ the phone as a card reader.

BTW: This was also tested on multiple computers, all do the same thing, load the drivers for the card reader (windows built-in drivers) and then don't show the drive)

Have you tried restarting both your phone and computer? If it still doesn't work - check your Device Manager and see if there are any devices that have an exclamation mark for the icon, which would mean that the driver for it wasn't installed correctly. If there is a device like that, it may explain why it doesn't show up in My Computer.

it shows up fine as USB Mass Storage Device in the device manager, nothing has an explanation mark, have restarted, this happens on multiple computers, my desktop, work laptop, and dad's desktop. all load the drivers, but don't populate a drive

Seriously, I've been looking for a week for why this is, been trying different things to fix it, and none are working. Anyone know why it's not populating a drive, but reads the drivers? Oh, btw: realized that my 1x data works but not my EVOD. Connection? Maybe? I dunno, anyone wanna give me a hand?

mark's monster2.html I got a little progress, I let the phone sit there plugged in under memory card mode for like half hour and it populated, but it wouldn't let me access the drive, it just froze my computer until I unplugged the phone. This happened twice. I'm still having trouble getting EVDO working on it too tho. And occasionally when accessing things on the memory card, the phone will freeze up and restart, and it doesn't display thumbnails of all the stuff on the card like it should.

Hmm.it's starting to sound like it might be your card thats making the trouble. What brand is it? As for the EVDO, the only thing I can think of is that you didn't put a needed file back on the phone after the flash, or a setting is messed up somewhere. Try this www.hacktherazr.com/guide.disable.evdo.html but instead of turning the EVDO off, make sure it's on.

ya, started thinking it might be the card, but when i put it in another motorola it works perfect. and whats funny is it's even on pix that the phone took itself that it did it on. and ya, I made sure its on in the test menu like that. Followed monster2.html so many times making sure I didn't miss anything. At first I thought it was because I didn't have in the shared secrets but I got those in right. Just confusing me, not that I need EVDO much, but it'd be nice, but the memory card issue is the main thing. Also on a trip out of town, I got service when roaming, but when I went to make a call it would drop all service and not make the call. I have home only and standard scan under network settings only, shouldn't I have more? There's a seem edit for this right?

question when you plug it in you get a "plugged in as usb drive, files on card not available now" msg does it freeze and reboot? my 1st k1m did that and yea if i left it for a half hour or so it worked. i was curious and realised that when i reflashed the alltel monster 5 , yea 5 in a row it still didnt work so i tryed the vivo monster. and it worked. so after that if i flashed to allltel to vivo to alltel gain it works. but dont upgrade cuz it wont work.... all tht flashing 4 nothing.

nah, it says it and works, no freezing or rebooting, just slows the comp down quite a bit unplug it and both work fine again.
