It appeared to have on it the 1.1.1 software which is unlockable by performing a downgrade to 1.0.2 since the unlocking without a computer will no longer work on the newer 1.1.1 handsets. Also we have come to the conclusion that for phones that say "Repair Needed" need to have been unlocked with iPhoneSimFree prior to performing the update to 1.1.2 to fix any errors. If the phone is still locked prior to upgrading to 1.1.2 then your phone will continue to remain unlocked. At this time we do not have any further information on how to unlock 1.1.2 but will post the information as it becomes available to us. Thanks |

I don't see any problems unlocking; anySIM 1.1 has worked every single time. One weird thing though: jailbreakme.com sometimes does not patch YouTube correctly. When I get the springboard, YouTube may or may not work (shows cannot connect to YouTube) If it doesn't work, it doesn't work even I SSH in and overwrite those 3 files, and I have to restored it to factory 1.1.1 via iTunes. Then jailbreakme.com again and it will work. Weird. |

What usually happens is the date is set differently and you need to change the date. When the date is August 15, 2030, it really screws up YouTube in terms of how it operates and throws it out of sync haha |
