nes emulator gone from installer.app?

recently, i've been downloading NES ROMs so i can use with the iphone, but the NES.app has disappered from the installer program. can anyone confirmed this? am i out of luck? if so, is there a way to download the emulator w/o installer.app? much help would be appreciated. thanks!

Hey chinkster01,

I am also seeing this problem.
Don't know what is going on.
Summerboard has disappeared too.
I guess we can just wait for it to be fixed or if you really need NES, you can download it from the official site here:

http://www.zdziarski.com/projects/nesapp/

Get the tar ball and it has NES.app directory inside. Then use WinSCP to copy to the /Applications directory.

The only thing is there will be no Uninstall option under Installer.

yeah, i did that and it installed. the only problem i had with that is that when i opened the nes.app on the springboard, it directed me to a white screen, then nothing happened, and closed. i have no clue what's going on.

The latest installer wasn't working, which is why I guess they pulled it for now.

hi ppl i moved the NES.app into my applications with WinSCP but its not showing up on my menu screen. did i do anything wrong? plz answer if u can thank you.

You need to reboot your phone before it shows up.
Actually NES is back on Installer again.

I found the answer to my own question. Apparently, this new version seems to choke at the amount of games I have in my ROM. It bounces back to the iPhone home screen before reading everything. The older version had no problems reading all of them.
