So I had so much crap installed on the phone that I was testing that I wanted to restore it to start fresh. I had version 1.1.1 installed and Itunes upgraded it to version 1.1.2. So I tried to downgrade to 1.1.1 again and everything is fine but I get the "Waiting for activation" on the home page and it doesnt have any service. so I just upgraded it to 1.1.2 cause I need my phone, is there a ETA on jailbreakme app for 1.1.2?? Any help would be appreciated.

The phone is actually jailbroken yet - there is no activation process for non-AT&T customers yet (I don't think, anyway) - For now, if you used IPSF to unlock your phone:

1) Restore FW to 1.0.2
2) Restore BB with 1.1.2 downgrade pack
3) Virginize (then you may want to restore FW again)
4) Upgrade to 1.1.1
5) Unlock
6) Stay away from 1.1.2 for now.

Hope this helps!

If you absolutely must have 1.1.1 that's what you need to do.

If you don't mind staying at 1.1.2 you can just jailbreak 1.1.2.

The 1.1.2 jailbreak isn't as simple as AppSnapp but it's as close to one click as you can get

The links for it should be here somewhere. If not check ModMyIfone.com

Dont forget - its one thing to be an ATT customer and another to be an ATT customer W/ LEGITIMATE IPHONE service.
The above won't work if you don't have legit iphone service.

I know. In fact I usually specify that in all my responses. I thought I read that he was able to get a working phone with 1.1.2. Only way that would happen is via a 'legit' AT&T SIM
