Okay...been a symbian addict for a while...well just broke my N75 in half, so decided to try an HTC 8525 (heard good things).

I've played with WinMo before, but I'm pretty much a virgin. I'll be getting my 8525 today, and just wondering where I should start or in other words what should I do to make it up to date and running at peak performance?

also, any programs you suggest (pay or not) would be helpful as well.

id say it depends on what your gonna use it? i use it mostlty for multimedia (tilt) so i would either get coreplayer for movies or tcmp for streaming youtube. i would also start reading up on how to flash your phone to wm6. if you pm me i have a few things you might want.

thanks, I'll be using it primarily for business, email, sync with outlook etc...but I really don't know the capabilities yet.

I use my N75 for those things, but I also browse the web with opera mini, I send pix to flickr, i send vids to youtube, I do listen to music and watch videos, and control my computer...but I would love to get my hands into anything this phone can do.

Mainly I'll be using this phone for business and browsing the web.
