No Service on Tilt

I have an issue with my Tilt where if I go through an area that has no service, the phone does not reconnect to the AT&T service (once I am back in a good cellular signal area) unless I turn the phone portion off and back on. I have performed soft and hard resets, but this doesn't help. Does anyone else have this problem?

Are you using stock ROM and Radio?

I have the same issue sometimes. Happened twice today, but was fine the other 2 times today. (I take subway so I go in and out of service areas)... no idea what causes this.
