Where to put my P800

where do you guys usually put your p800?
In the pocket ?
I am kinda annoyed as the p800 seems like it can be easily broken.
I can't put the P800 in my jean pocket or pants pocket.

I have the carry strap attached, and tend to carry it in it's soft case with the strap around my wrist - more like a camera than a phone.

You can pass the strap through a belt loop and drop the phone through the strap if you want somewhere to hang it while you're standing or sitting - doesn't look very cool though.

Mostly, I carry it in a jacket pocket. Not sure what I'll do in summer though.

If you're worried about it getting broken/scratched etc...leave the flip attached. It helps protect the screen.

By-the-way, all touch screens are more fragile than non-touch screens. Typically if you drop a PDA from waist-height the screen will crack. I haven't tested this with the P800, but don't plan on testing it either.

I know of cases in which the LCD was cracked because the flip was attached.

Keep in mind that the LCD is inset. It is not flush with the housing. You could drop a flipless P800 face down onto concrete and the LCD won't even get touched.

so you are saying p800 without flip is better^^?
how do you dial then? use finger?

you use the pointer thing, sorry minds blanked out........ that pen thing for the pda?

Stylus

Having the flip on increases your chances of cracking the screen, but it reduces your chances of scratching the screen where the keypad is.

The buttons on the flip push through to hit the screen. when you drop your phone, or bump it into a big surface, all the force gets focused onto the pin point of the key.

Uh...yeeah I keep my P800 in that cute bag and cut into it to pass my belt,,,but dont call me cheap becuz I don't want a fruity looking leather from SE (i.e just waiting for a good looking carrier). By the way I didn't pay $650, Both of mine were $1,100 each back in Janurary...early
