I went to Birmingham in August. It was HOT!!!!! There is a really cool place in the city that has Jello Wrestling on Thursday nights. I can't remember what the place is called. If it comes to me I'll let you know. Oh, and just to warn you, the place where training is held is away from the city. You'll be about 25 minutes away, but def go into the city. It's a treat. I'm from Richmond VA, so I'm used to city life, but It's a lot different visiting another city.

And if you don't have 3G in your market like we didn't until yesterday, then you'll have a lot of fun on the internet and using your phone.

What hotel did you stay at? Honestly I'm not looking forward to going it's durning a family holiday and I won't be home. I guess it will be ok though.

I was originally at the Comfort Inn airport, but the trainers made me move my hotel since it was not in a safe area. (the night I changed, someone was murdered in the parking lot.) When I changed, I stayed at the Homestead right around the corner from the training building. Hope you have fun!!!

I got a question. Do you get reinburst for food, gas, and mileage or just food and mileage. How much do they pay per mile. No one seems to know at my store. Somebody help me out if you can. Thanks.

Are you driving to the training? When I went, they flew me out there, rented me a car, paid for the hotel and I have all of my meals covered by a corporate card. I went for SBA training, and was given a corporate card before I left so I just used that.

Usually mileage is 48.5 cents a mile. They will reimburse you if you have your receipts.

You should talk to your ARSM or someone higher if you have any questions though. You can also go onto Learning Edge and there should be a class you have to take before you go to training on it too.

RSC training for the VAWV market is all done in Richmond and I'm pretty sure you are covered if you are at training. Its what I've seen by people that come here.
