So yeah i can confirm, NO TELENAV needed and the GPS works INSIDE the house!
I dind't go anywhere yet but i'll be testing it later

Now i loaded up Live when i was coming home and that worked right off the bat. I didn't install telenav EVER but i've since uninstalled GMaps and live still works. It just seems like once the system has been "activated" somehow then it's fine but after you reboot it's hell trying to get it to work again for some reason. |

yep. one very nice feature of bj2 vs bj1 is that if you pull the battery while the unit is plugged in IT WILL STAY ON. this is very handy for those of us that swap batteries a lot...obviously it will be more handy once you can actually buy a spare battery ;-)
