Is there a way to check for 100% sure that the unlock was successful with a ATT simcard? I want to unlock a iphone and send it overseas, but dont know anyone with t mobile or other network, everyone i know has ATT, including everyone in my house. I will unlock my iphone first, and make sure i can do it correctly before going out and buying another iphone.

Which method is the best, and the easiest would you guys say?

buy a tmo prepaid card and try it out...cheap insurance I guess especially if you are gonna ship it overseas

that sounds good, now can i go to the tmo store and just get sim card from them, and be like i have a phone already i would like to use? Any idea how much that would run? Or i just unlock my iphone first and tell them i need a prepaid card?
Because the cheapest pre-paid phone from them is like $40....

What I did was I told them that I already had a phone but I lost my sim card (I also said I left my phone at home) I then bought a sim card for 10 dollars i think it had 10 min on it but im not to sure.
