just install xlaunch and hide your icons with that

I just did it this morning. Works great!

1. Uninstall Customize in installer.app
2. Download ibrickr v0.91 (I had some trouble finding this, but finally did.)
3. Download the Customize 1.13 .xml file (get it from here)
4. Use iBrickr to install Customize 1.13

Since you're using iBrickr, Customize will not show up in installer.app nor prompt you to update it.

While Xlaunch is decent, it won't let you reorder it's own or the installer.app icon. Ergo, I went back to Customize 1.13.

with x launch.. do i uninstall customize? can the "sunray" still be used to access hidden icons? where do i hide in xlaunch unwanted icons?? thanks!!

Read one post above yours, the instructions to put customize 1.13 are right there.

ughhhh!!! i messed with xlaunch and customize that NOW when i open customize, and hit icon reorder,, it just crashes!! all other features of customize work!! i have uninstalled and re- installed a few times now..still samy crash!! what's happening??!!

If you're using 1.17, it's probably because you tried to change graphics. it's a major beta (heck, IMHO, it's now an ALPHA release.)

Go back to 1.13 if you want to use Customize.

Can't find iBrickr first of all, and second i don't know if i'm supposed to do this from my iphone or if I have to connect it to my PC. I know you made a step by step but could you please further elaborate on some of the steps. You said you had trouble finding ibrickr, how did you finally do it?

Google. Just follow the instructions, they're self-explanatory. Don't over-think it.

I guess you don't understand that your step by step instructions aren't very detailed for newbs like us. I still don't get if this ibrickr deal is done thru my pc or phone. But I guess you will once again point to your post. But thanx anyways I guess we will have to wait til spicy chiken fixes this.

Dude, you're over-thinking the process. Blank your mind (shouldn't be too hard, right? LOL), and follow my instructions.

Did my instructions say "do this on your iPhone"? No, they did not. The only think you need to do with your iPhone is plug it in.

Is customize compatible with 1.1.2?? I try to install it, and when you see the chicken, it just close. I can't open it.
