does anyone know how to put ringtones on the vx9900? or anyone that can point me in the right direction? i have the mini sd card needed, and can put files from my computer on to the phone, but cannot get the files to show up. I had the vx 9800, and had to buy a special cable to actually get the files to show up after using bitpm. is it anything like the 9800? any help would be appreciated.

Yup, bitpim will do it for ya. Just put it in the right folder (my ringtones I believe) in the filesystem, and you're good to go. Then reboot your phone to get it to show up.

You can't load ringtones using My Bluetooth Places... You need to use BitPIM software to do that, and you can still use your Bluetooth connection with BitPIM.

Or you can email them to yourself, cut them down to a reasonable size (under 300k) and send them to <10-Digit Phone Number>@vzwpix.com as a file attachment and then save it when you get it on you phone. Make sure you send them as Plain Text if you use Outlook or OE.
