Howdy;

I hope someone out there can help. I own a AT&T Tilt running under Window Mobile 6 (WM6) and can not download any files larger then about 6.5 MB. These files originate from various sources such as Podcasts from IGN, WMV’s and RM from Rapidshare and Megaupload, etc; and some can be quite large 50, 80, 100 MB in length. My previous 8525 running under WM5 had no problems downloading the exact same files. Due to another issue I’ve updated the ROM on my 8525 to WM6 and, you guessed it, I can’t download the same files I used to under WM5. Has anyone also had any trouble down loading? AT&T says its not there service. HTC is looking into the problem and they recommend that I contact the download sources, it’s the carrier, try Opera-mini, etc. HTC also claims that I’m the first to experience this problem; which I find very hard to believe. Has anyone also had any trouble down loading? (Does any one have a WM5 ROM that I can download back into my 8525?)

I haven't had any overall issues downloading; then again, I'm not downloading files that large. Hope you find the answer you need.

how much memory do you have? are you downloading this onto your phone's memory (which is definitely not enough for large files) or to your memory card? is your memory card full?
