Weather Icon Change in 1.1.2

Hey guys -

Would any of you skinners and modders happen to know the name of the file that is the metric version of the Weather.png file?

In 1.1.2, anticipating that there would be some people using metric units has changed the icon so that is says "23C" instead of the "70F" from before. Anyhow, it's making all my themes look ugly, so I'd like to know the name of the file so I can rename Weather.png to the new name and get my unified icons for my themes back

Thanks!

I just realized what you were talking about.. I was wondering why my weather icon doesn't change with the themes..

Found this on another forum:

download the .plist file from: /Applications/Weather.app/Info.plist

You need to convert the .plist file from binary to ascii

then delete these 2 lines:

<key>SBIconClass</key>
<string>SBWeatherApplicationIcon</string>

resave and upload.

I just did it and the icon now gets replaced with the theme icon.

I've uploaded my .plist file here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/71382994/Info.plist.html

good luck.

What exactly does deleting the key do?

Can anyone confirm this works?? Am I suppose to just replace the file with the one available here or does it still need to be converted to ascii.

The file I uploaded on rapidshare is already converted. You just have to ssh it to your phone.

I'm not too sure, I've backed up my original binary file before I uploaded the ascii file and it's been fine since I did it.

that plist on rapidshare solved the problem for me. Just make sure you back up the original plist file.
