This is a kind of weird situation but basically i bought an unlocked iphone from some guy. So im guessing the guy who unlocked the phone also used it with his itunes. When i connected the iphone to i tunes i decline the offer to update to 1.1, as i hear it will brick my iphone. However i cannot add songs to my iphone via itunes. I also cannot delete the music that is on the ipod currently?

So my question i guess is: Is there a way to make it so i can put my music on my iphone via itunes

Bonus points if you can figure out how to get my tmobile data plan to work with safari mail ect...

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T ADD SONGS VIA ITUNES???

and with regards to your data plan, input the settings of your carrier in the EDGE settings

Ok well from what i suspect the previous owner had the phone synced with his itunes so when i connect mine the option to add songs for me is grayed out.(not sure if its because I'm on OSX?)
So since the option is grayed out essentially all i can do right now is make phone calls with the phone.

Also with Edge I did some digging around and came across some methods so i may have found a temp way of getting my data plan working on the phone.(Runs very slow though)

I hope that made my question a little bit more clearer
