So I had/have a Motorola Slvr L7 and It got washed. The SIM card seems to still work in my old phone. (Samsung x497 eww) Has anyone had this happen before and did your phone survive. Also anyone have any suggestions for a phone around 200 dollars?

I have read that you should let the phone dry completely take out the battery and just wait then when it's dry put the battery back in and hope for the best and if it works it works if not then buy a new phone.
If your willing to spend $200 buy another slvr unlocked they are less than $200.

there is a regulator board inside the li-ion batteries that sometimes fails when exposed to water.
housing components are generally reusable after being completely submerged in water. but if you had bleach in you laundry load, you might have some corrosion issues down the road

I Soaked my razr in alchohal wen it got soaked and it worked fine after. The only thing is that the some of the keypads dont light up.
