I have a virgin 1.1.2 firmware iphone. The phone came with the 1.1.2 version built-in and has never been unlocked. The firmware version is 04.02.13_G. I want to use it with a T-Mobile SIM card.

I've been browsing the forum here and it seems that there is no way yet to unlock this version of the iphone(one that come with pre-loaded 1.1.2 and 04.02.13_G). I went to unlockthatiphone.com and put in the firmware info, etc. and it offered instructions to unlock it. I believe it downgrades it to 1.1.1 via itunes first. So then there is a way to unlock it and use it on T-Mobile? Or am I missing something here?

The website doesn't specifically mention that the unlock method is only for phones that upgraded to 1.1.2.

This site never once mentions anything about the new bootoader, which is unlockable at the moment. I think they only refer to updating to 1.1.2 not BNIB 1.1.2 with the new Bootloader
