I bought these on eBay today, and would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on them.

Would be much appreciated.

You'll get exactly what you paid for it. Don't kid yourself.

I'm asking the opinions of anyone who bought them. Not people coming to troll.

You don't even have an iPhone why would you bother with a useless post. I am well aware of what I paid, and how bad they could potentially be.

What I was asking was if anoyone who is not a total A**-hat could let me know if they had a pair and could let me know.

Thanks for devaluing this thread with your useless post.

Yeah people are idiots. The best way to deal with people that like to troll is to act like they don't exist. They seem to go away faster.

And to actually ANSWER your question, I have used those before as a friend had them. They are just OKAY. They definitely aren't the worst headphones in the world, but they aren't the best. If you aren't too picky, you should be okay, but if you're looking for really comfortable great sound headphones, you may be a bit dissapointed.

Then again, it's what you think that matters, so you may like them, who knows.

I really prefer my Skullcandy headphones, which unfortunately don't fit the iPhone. SO, I bought the headphone adapter, along with a car charger and travel charger, off eBay for something like $9 shipped. That way I can use whatever headphones I want. Don't need the ability to answer calls with a set of headphones, so don't care about that.

Staples sells the Skullcandy headphones for $19.99 + tax, and honestly, they are excellent. Everyone else (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) sells them for $30+.

edit: FYI, this is what I bought, and the headphone adapter appears to be the original Apple accessory (not that I care, as long as it works.) Allows you to use any headphones with the iPhone, and the price is right as far as I'm concerned. Getting the car charger + spare wall charger is a bonus IMHO.

skullcandy is the best imo. fits great in my ear... and super cheap.

Perfect that's exactly what I wanted to know. I find that the headphones that came with the iPhone were just OK as well. For $9 im not stressing just wanted to get an idea of what I was instore for.

Are these any good at blocking out the outside noise. Taking calls with my headphones is a necessity for me as my girlfriend can talk for hours and I dont like holding my iPhone up to my head for hours while it heats up.

As long as they work and get half decent sound... im happy.

Thanks guys for not trolling and actually helping! I knew there were still decent hofoers around!

Are you always this tense? How do you know that I don't own an iPhone? I have two, BTW. I'll reiterate one more time, you asked for an opinion, here it is, a $1.00 pair of buds is going to sound like a ........$1.00 pair of buds! Take a chillpill.

How do you know its not a good deal on a $1000 dollar pair of buds. I was asking for someone who actually owned them to give me an opinion. Not some random forum troller.

Thanks for yet another useless post.

Yep. I JUST got the eBay item I bought in the mail. The headphone adapter is very flexible (almost feels flimsy LOL), and fits tightly, so it won't fall out. In fact, when I put it in the first time, I could barely hear anything, and thought there might be a problem. Pushed down on the adapter and it went in a little bit more, and I could hear perfectly on my Skullcandy headphones.

I heard Skullcandy is working on a set of iPhone-specific headphones, which will have the call answer ability, but of course they'll come at a premium price (as does just about anything that has "Apple" or "iPhone" in it's name. ) For the price, the Skullcandy Smokin Buds can't be beat. They really are "noise cancelling", and sound like MUCH more expensive headphones. I've had a set of Shure E2Cs and E3Cs, and the Smokin Buds sounds just as good IMHO, at a fraction (literally) of the cost. Seriously, for $19.99 + tax, how can you go wrong?

BTW, the travel charger that came with it the auction I won is nice. It plugs into the charging stand (duh), which frees up the USB cable for me to use when I'm syncing the iPhone with my laptop or doing something else that requires it. And like I said, getting a car charger to boot is just icing on the cake, especially since all 3 items cost $9 shipped.

So basically, for $30, I got a set of Skullcandy noise-cancelling Smokin buds earphones, a 3.5mm headphone adapter, a car charger, and a wall charger. What a deal!
