Adapting apps/games for SE

What software can I use to adapt the keyboard of a game/app for use with a Sony ericsson phone? I tried the Java adapter for mobile but in most cases it did nothing and in some it even corrupted the jar to the point the cellphone wouldn't run it anymore...
