ok so I figure no one knows about truely modding the nokia 6300 only a few simple things as far as I can tell like the factory reset and flashing new s/w versions....the kind of edditing I was refering to was PRL edditing (ie. the NOKIA 6265i I could edit things in a program called diego which subsequently does recognize the nokia 6300 but only shows version etc I cant get it to find the prl and no editing options...

I did a NSS factory reset and had the same problem too! The clock on my main screen is gone

In hope of recoverying the clock, I did a normal user "factory reset" from the menu on the phone and got back the Fido customizations (and lost the MP3 ringtone capabilities), but still couldn't get the clock back

I need the clock... don't like wearing watches.

In the meantime, a workaround is to use the clock noir theme which has a flash based analogue clock on the standby screen.

Can anybody help?

alright for anyone who has had the problem with the clock go into:

MENU - SETTINGS - TIME AND DATE - TIME - CLOCK

SELECT DIGITAL OR ANALOG and it will appear in the main screen again

hope this helps
