It depends. Are you an original ATT Wireless Customer (meaning were you a ATT Wireless (AWS) customer prior to them being brought over by Cingular in late 2004.

If you are an original ATT wireless customer on an original plan (this was when they started up with GSM service in I think late 2001) than holidays were free with those plans. However, if you are a newer customer with a new plan than weekday holiday minutes count as regular days.

Hope this clarifies everything.

Haha.... You guys misunderstood what the question was. Cingtd, I got it....

I get that after the holiday. People call and complain that their minutes were used and it was a "holiday" and they should not have been charged for their minutes. So they talk extra long because they thought there were no minutes charged for the day. After advising them that it is not a "weekend", they say something stupid like, "Well, that's how it used to be before cingular took over."

haven't heard it yet, will keep my ears open though. Maybe this would fare better in the employee forum since two people who responded didn't get it. :/

I accidentally put it here and I agree it should be in the employee forum. Sorry folks.
